Solid Pre-Formed Curb for Showers
Mapeguard® Pre-Formed Curb is made from high-density expanded polystyrene (EPS), with a solid composition and an acrylic polymer coating. This waterproof, lightweight, tile-able accessory to simplify shower installations. Mapeguard Pre-Formed Curb is used to create a tile-ready curb in wet areas in lieu of lath and mortar, or as a replacement for 2" x 4" (5 x 10 cm) boards that are overlayed and waterproofed. Its waterproof attributes do not contribute to mold or mildew.
- Ready-to-tile pre-formed curb reduces the labor associated with traditional curb installations
